The Morgue

The blog title kind of says it. These are just a few of the dozens of drawings I've trashed over the course of trying to get the hang of Daredevil and drawing superheroes again.



A lot of times the reason I discard a drawing has less to do with anatomy or the fact that the drawing is so technically wrong than the fact that it doesn't communicate correctly. The final drawings are usually pretty quick, I don't know if that has to do with loosening up as I go or if I tend to work out just what the intent is with all of the trial and error. Anyway, that's the way I work right now ... the right to change reserved.
