Ninja Star!

I'm back from Miami Super Con, which was a good but slow time for the most part... at least as far as the convention was concerned. The fortunate side effect of getting ignored at what is basically an anime convention is that I got work done. Bullseye can attest to that (click image to enlarge):

I won't bore you with a con report, but I will say that if you're ever near the corner of NW 7th and 57th street in Miami, you owe it to yourself to hit up CASA JUAN... a hole in the wall Cuban restaurant that Shawn Crystal and myself found nestled in a quaint little alcove strip mall. Right next to the Burger King. It's the kind of joint where old Cuban men sit in folding chairs at the door smoking cigars all hours of the day and night. It's also where you can get an amazing 4 course meal for about twelve bucks...





Shawn (who is jewish) literally gasped, "OH MY GOD THAT'S BACON!"( or Kracklin')
