THE PLAID AND THE FURY

Back from my whirlwind tour of the Northeast and all I got was this stupid life drawing:

life-nyc-sept10-ink-low

Okay that's not true. I got a lot of those street peanuts/cashews they sell in NYC. Those things are delicious. If I had a real band our NYC concept album would be called STREET NUTS in their honor.

Anyways, the trip was a great success. Got to attend Baltimore Comic Con, devour a Brazilian meat storm, see many friends new and old and prowl the streets and gutters of the cit-ay. All in all not a bad "vacation". Can't wait to turn around and go back in a month.

Also- while I was gone WOLVERINE #1 and I AM AN AVENGER #1 both hit stands. The response to the work has been really flattering overall. I'm super proud and grateful to have been a part of those things. WOLVERINE seems to have done really well sales wise. I walked into Jim Handley's and they were packaging copies of the book with purchases of $20 or more. A great idea to get it into new reader's hand.

HANDLEY'S NYC-WOLV #1

So thanks again to everyone who bought either, I hope you enjoyed.

DEAR GOD A VIDEO INTERVIEW--

Turns out that while I was in Baltimore I got interviewed. Amidst a sea of western plaid, male pattern baldness & beards myself & SURFING THE BLEED'S Brett Williams talk Daredevil, Scalped, Creator-owned comics & breaking in.
Floating noggin GO!!:

SURFING THE BLEED INTERVIEW

It's semi-serious, but I've been informed by Brett that our ramblings on Big Lebowski and 1980s wrestling will eventually be repackaged and posted. I'll let you know. I know you're dying for it

More soon...
